History

International Festival of Architecture, Design and Civil Engineering Schools of Eurasia.
International Festival of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Design Schools was initiated by the will of the President of the Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering (KazGASA) prof. Amirlan Kussainov and General Secretary of TURKSOY prof. Ducen Kasseinov.  Thus, KazGASA became the first university in Kazakhstan which held a large-scale event at a foreign university.
On 2-7 November 2009 the I International Festival was organized at the Maltepe University (Istanbul, Turkey) with the participation of 18 universities from 7 countries of Eurasia.   International competition received more than 115 graduation projects
On 02-05 November 2011 the ІІ International Festival was organized at the Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Almaty, Kazakhstan) with the participation of 36 universities from 8 countries of Eurasia.  International competition received more than 200 graduation projects. 
On 30 November - 02 December 2013  the III International Festival was organized at the Yildiz Technical University (Istanbul, Turkey) with the participation of 38 universities from 12 countries of Eurasia.  International competition received more than 261 graduation projects. 
On 04-07 September 2014 the IV International Festival was organized at Issyk-Kul Lake (Kyrgyzstan) with the participation of 33 universities from 8 countries of Eurasia. International competition received more than 241 graduation projects.   
On 8-10 December 2015 the V International Festival was organized at the Foundation Romualdo del Bianco (Florence, Italy) with the participation of 37 universities from 15 countries of Eurasia.  International competition received more than 217 graduation projects.  
On September 7-10, 2016, the VI International Festival was held on the basis of the Middle Eastern University (Northern Cyprus, Lefkosa), in which representatives of 51 Eurasian universities from 18 countries took part, 246 projects were presented at the International Review Contest.  
October 25-26, 2017, the VII International Festival was held on the basis of ASI SamSTU (Russia, Samara), in which representatives of 52 Eurasian universities from 15 countries took part, 332 projects were presented at the International Review Contest.  
In 2018, the VIII International Festival was hosted by the Technical University of Moldova, with the participation of representatives of 64 Eurasian universities from 17 countries. 383 projects were presented at the International competition.
In 2019, the IX International Festival was hosted by the Tashkent Institute of architecture and construction and the Samarkand state Institute of architecture and construction. Ulugbek and Bukhara Institute of engineering and technology, with the participation of representatives of 83 Eurasian universities from 18 countries. 552 projects were presented at the International competition.
International Festival of Architectural, Civil Engineering and Design Schools organizes with the purpose of enhancement of the role of Higher Educational Institutions in professional orientation of students, preparation of specialists, who will be highly valued and demanded on the market, with the purpose of stimulation of advanced graduates – future specialists in the field of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Design.
