Anti-corruption measures
In order to prevent and prevent corruption offenses, the following activities are carried out:
- The observance of the Code of Honor of the teacher approved by the Academic Council is monitored;
- student leaders are involved in work as outside observers in exams and when accepting documents for training;
- Student leaders conducting monitoring of social networks and forums, a site to identify feedback on the IEC, analyze them and make decisions;
- monitoring of issues received via the Hotline of the helpline;
- monitoring of issues received in the post of the rector through the box “Direct communication with the rector”;
- discussion of corruption risks on adviser watches: on the work of deans and the Registrar's Office;
- students participate in various anti-corruption actions, in events where respect for the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, norms of collective life, development of civil and social responsibility is brought up, participate in special legal lectures from law enforcement officers and teachers of legal disciplines, create videos on this topic;
- The Academic Council discusses the results of work aimed at combating corruption in the IEC;
- The Academic Council discusses issues related to the transparency of the educational process and the quality of education;
- improving the procedure for checking graduate work of students for plagiarism.
Students actively express their opinion and participate annually in opinion polls:
- “Results of the summer / winter examination session and practice” (determination of measures to improve the organization of the session and practice, adjustment of the educational process to improve the quality of education, identification of corruption)
- “Living conditions in the House of Students and negative factors that reduce the organization of the educational process in the community” (determination of measures to eliminate shortcomings and development of recommendations for improving living conditions in the community, identification of corruption)
- “KazGASA/KAU through the eyes of a freshman” (determining the level of awareness of freshmen about the educational process, first impressions of the university, identifying corruption at the stage of the selection committee)
- “Teacher through the eyes of students” (determining the level of teaching effectiveness and assessing the teaching skills of teaching staff)
- “The quality of distance learning” (development of recommendations for further improvement of the educational process in the correspondence form of training, the detection of corruption)
- “On the moral and psychological climate in the student team and the attitude of students to religion” (to study the moral and psychological climate in the student team and students' attitudes to religion, revealing corruption)
- “KazGASA/KAU through the eyes of graduates” (development of recommendations for optimizing the educational process and identifying competent, knowledgeable teachers, identifying corruption).
