The format of the debate is British Parliamentary. Two teams took part in the debate – representatives of the debate club of the International Educational Corporation, student activists. The total number of participants was more than 40 people.
As part of the debate, the issues of the upcoming Republican Referendum were considered. The students expressed their opinion on constitutional reforms for the successful political, social, economic and cultural development of the country.
Verbal battles were held on the topics of education in educational institutions of the state, the environmental component of the country, the fight against corruption, the supply of Internet resources to sparsely populated areas, the condition of roads and highways.
Makhambet Kokimov, a student of KazGASA College, believes that holding a Republican referendum on making changes is one of the important steps in implementing the idea of a new Kazakhstan. IЕC student Eldos Kurmanzhan noted in his speech that the bright future of the country is in the hands of smart, smart, fervent youth filled with knowledge.
"New Kazakhstan" should correspond to the understanding of the intellectual generation, an educated young inquisitive and creative citizen. Therefore, conducting explanatory work, events, including debates, is relevant in this case.
Student debates have a positive impact on young people, form a civic position, increase the political involvement of young people and global citizenship.
