Kazakhstan is a multinational country where representatives of more than 130 nationalities and 17 faiths live in peace and harmony.
Gratitude Day is not just a holiday, but also a reflection of the historical events that Kazakhstan has experienced over the past centuries.
The festive date is aimed primarily at educating the younger generation of a sense of tolerance, respect and friendliness to each other, as well as strengthening interethnic harmony and interethnic relations in Kazakhstan.
It is also worth noting that the holiday is timed to the day of the formation of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and has been celebrated in the country since 2016.
Earlier, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the special meaning and deep symbolism of the holiday, stressing that "its values embody strong traditions of mutual assistance and the indestructible unity of the Kazakh people."
